Cruinn Diagnostics Adds Blood Gas Syringes from MeterOmega to Its Portfolio
Cruinn Diagnostics has entered a distribution agreement with MeterOmega Medical Group to bring the manufacturer’s safety arterial blood gas syringes to the Irish market.
Founded in 1991, MeterOmega Medical Group specialise in production of Safety Blood Gas Syringes and have an ongoing commitment to innovation, research and product development. Its products are currently distributed in more than 50 countries and hold ISO/EN 13485 quality management system certification.
Additionally, MeterOmega products are all CE marked and meet the regulatory standards required for procurement across Irish public and private healthcare settings.
MeterOmega products now available through Cruinn Diagnostics include:
- SyringeABG An arterial blood gas sampling syringe for ICU, ED, and critical care use.
- iCARE-FLOW CapillaryABG – A capillary ABG sampler using a patented flow-valve and flow-plug system.
- UCARE-FLOW CapillaryABG – A capillary ABG sampler with a patented three-way exhaust valve system.
- Care-Push Capillary Tubes – Hydrophilic plastic capillary tube pre-loaded with lyophilised balanced lithium heparin (~15IU/ml), designed for POCT capillary blood collection.
- Blood Gas Capillary Tubes – Plastic (PET) and glass capillary tubes pre-loaded with ~50IU/ml dry electrolyte-balanced heparin, designed primarily for neonatal blood gas sampling.
