Field Service Engineer
Qualifications / Experience Third level qualification (certificate or higher) in an engineering related discipline. Experience in the testing of BSCs and fume hoods, temperature mapping or autoclave would be highly advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. A full driving licence. Ability to lift 20kg weight. Key Responsibilities : The principal duties and responsibilities of the Service Engineer are to perform calibration, testing, and repairs on laboratory equipment such as biological safety cabinets, fume hoods, autoclaves, temperature controlled enclosures, analytical balances, environmental monitoring systems, thermometry, centrifuges and cleanroom environments. This role is nationwide and is operated from our calibration offices in Parkwest Dublin 12. This is a customer facing role. To project a positive image of Cruinn Diagnostics by interacting with visitors and customers in a professional, friendly and courteous manner at all times. Duties: Responsible for ensuring conformance to our ISO accredited procedures. Liaising with departmental manager, customer service team, and the customer to ensure work is carried out as per agreed schedule and requirements. Calibration, testing and repairs on laboratory equipment Production of calibration and testing certificates and all associated administration work. Fault diagnosis and resolution, commissioning, and preventative maintenance services. Ensuring a high level of customer service satisfaction at all times.
